Nonsense by twin brains
Leo invited me to start writing with him. We're starting today after getting the basics of technology and planning set up yesterday. I'm so excited its silly. Its so easy to work with him because we think so much alike. Unlike with almost any other field, our language and writing coalesce well. We shall see how it goes. Who knows? we may end up squabbling like sibblings as always.
In other news, I found the camera. I got some incredibly cute pics of the kids being little monsters. They got into Mark's face paint for Haloween season at work and painted eachother yesterday. I have a decent pic of Heather and her beau as well that I'll put up when I get a chance.
The kids are definitely starting to talk. Angie sings the Dora the explorer song from the end of the show "We did it," whenever anybody does anything that impresses her with the dance to match. William now is requesting things in phrases rather than single words and is starting to talk almost inteligbly at length to me. They both sit me down with a stuffed animal to hug and pretend to read to me for about a minute at a time. William noticed that his book was upside down last night when doing this and said "Me boot up down," which for him is amazing. It totally caught me off gaurd and I got way too excited and emphatic when I said it was and to turn it over at which point he giggled and ran away. Its all quite chaotic, but we're getting past the twin speak somwhat. They still do it though.
The whole face painting incedent took place on the kitchen floor, with them sitting between Grams and I standing talking. I thought they were mimicking us. Turns out they we talking in twinspeak. William got up, walked to the stairs where I had put the paint to remember to take it up, walked back and sat down. I didn't look to see if he had anything in his hand. They do that kind of thing frequently where they just pretend to go get something in their play. It was too cute to get mad, but washing it off isn't easy and they didn't enjoy it, so I'm not too worried about that happening again soon. Crafty boogers!
