Meandering

In the most literal way, we're meandering through everything. Nothing seems to be straight forward these days. We keep finding more and more junk packed in boxes that is missing pieces that show up after the other parts have been thrown out. I lost my glasses yesterday while in one of my disoriented stints that lasted a couple hours. Funny thing is, everyone was around and no one saw what happened. That's the nature of something you wear on your face. I managed to still conduct business while in my confused state, and have little recollection of what happened except that we're going to be in Pharr next week at some unspecified time. That seems to be the way of things. I'm sure the specifics will show up with my glasses on the way home from walmart.......

yesterday sucked and here's why

moving totally sucks. something always has to happen to make it a few times more difficult than it seemed like it would be. this time, zach the newfie had a few hot spots that opened up when it rained and he rolled in the mud. the flys got to him and he was infested. it weakened him to the point he can't deal with the hip that has been deteriorating over the last couple years. the flys were hard on his kidneys so he is incontenant now too.
i was going to take him to the animal hospital bc he seemed feverish. a customer called for information, so mark took him in. now it looks like he might have to be put down. poor baby can't even stand and hasn't eaten in a couple days. he's lost 10 lbs. its not right that mark has to be the one to do it. he's been so pitiful this week that i figured he might have died naturally at home, but he's been so healthy its going to take too long. i hope he's comfortable at least.
mark just called. poor zach has been crying. they can't help his hip. he's going to be in constant pain until its over. pain meds won't help. i guess that's it. he was such a good dog.
